Undergraduate diploma (or higher)
In Hungary, there are legal pre-requisite credit requirements to study postgraduate programmes.
Please make sure you meet the minimum requirements for this programme before applying.
You will need a minimum of 30 ECTS constituted from any of the following areas:
-Foundation/methodology (including mathematics, statistics and econometrics)
-Economics and business (including microeconomics, macroeconomics and business)
-Public service, government level management and control, public policy, public socio-politics.
Tip: to quickly calculate your credits in ECTS, divide learning hours by 30!
If your qualifications are not in English or Hungarian, official translations will be required for all diplomas and transcripts into English or Hungarian.
You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Programme description:
We are in the age of the data revolution. Economic analysts play a critical role in evidence-based decision making in multinational companies (MNCs) and governments or working as policy advisors.
As a student of our Economic Analysis programme, you will receive up-to-date macroeconomic and macro-financial knowledge, combined with policy analysis techniques – all highly sought-after by employers.
Learn standard methods of data analysis and macroeconomic modelling. Get acquainted with the modern views and methodologies of macroeconomics as well as their critiques.

We will evaluate your online application and supporting documents. Subject to paying the application fee, applicants will be contacted to participate in a competency test, then a written exam and finally, an online oral exam (interview).
