Course Description

The Master of Science program in Computer Science Engineering, offered by the Faculty of Informatics, provides students with the opportunity to expand and deepen their knowledge gained during their BSc program. This program not only familiarizes students with the latest trends in informatics but also emphasizes practical training conducted in state-of-the-art IT laboratories.

In addition to theoretical education, students are encouraged to engage in individual activities, which are supervised and guided by highly qualified consultants. They also have the chance to participate in research projects aligned with their chosen field, which can serve as the foundation for their master’s thesis.

The curriculum encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including Introduction to New Network Communication Technologies, Mathematics and Information Theory for Engineers, System Security Techniques and Solutions, and Introduction to Economics and Law. In the second year, students delve into advanced topics such as Intelligent Sensor Networks, Multimedia Networks, Data Mining for Engineers, and Cloud Service Architectures and Services.

With a balanced approach, the program allocates equal weight to lectures and seminars as well as hands-on practice. This ensures that students not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also develop practical skills that are vital for their future careers.

To enhance their practical exposure, students undertake a 6-week internship, either within the university working on research projects or at a multinational or local company. This experience further refines their skills and provides a valuable glimpse into the professional world.

The program commences in both September and February, spanning four semesters and accumulating 120 ECTS credits. The tuition fee is 7,500 USD per year, along with additional fees including a 150 USD application fee and a 350 USD entrance procedure fee. Proficiency in English, demonstrated through standardized tests like TOEFL or IELTS, is a prerequisite for admission.
