In September 2023, BME introduces a pioneering program aimed at training Physicist-Engineers with exceptional R&D potential. Focused on cutting-edge technological domains such as quantum and nanotechnology, data science, artificial intelligence, photonics, quantum optics, materials science, sustainable energetics, and nuclear technology.
Students in this program undergo a well-rounded curriculum encompassing engineering, physics, mathematics, computer and data science, and management. While emphasizing technological aspects, Physicist-Engineer students receive a stronger foundation in natural sciences compared to typical engineering programs. This distinctive approach equips them with the skills necessary for innovative R&D endeavors across three specialized tracks: Nanotechnology and Quantum Applications, Nuclear Technologies and Sustainable Energetics, and Scientific Data Processing.
Furthermore, the program incorporates a 6-week internship, providing invaluable industrial and research training at esteemed national and international R&D enterprises.
