The program offers two distinct tracks, each encompassing a full curriculum of 120 credits: the literary and cultural studies track and the linguistics track. Prospective students must make their selection between these tracks prior to application.
Coursework in the program is structured across four semesters, accumulating 120 ECTS credits. The second year of study is dedicated to specialized subjects tailored to the chosen track, culminating in the completion of a thesis.
The program maintains a balance between theoretical instruction and hands-on application, with lectures and seminars accounting for 25% of the curriculum, while practice-based activities constitute a significant 75%. This ensures that students not only acquire knowledge but also develop practical skills that are indispensable in professional and academic contexts.
Admission to the program requires a Bachelor’s degree and the completion of at least 38 credits in the field of English studies. For graduation, a minimum of 50 credits is necessary. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English through standardized tests like TOEFL (587) or IELTS (7.0) and undergo an entrance examination, either in person or through electronic communication.
The program commences annually in September. The tuition fee is 7,000 USD per year, complemented by an application fee of 150 USD and an entrance procedure fee of 350 USD.
Graduates of the English Studies MA program emerge as proficient scholars, poised to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in their chosen track—be it literary and cultural studies or linguistics.
