Course Description

This program is designed for individuals who possess qualities of openness, creativity, and a well-informed perspective, coupled with strong communication skills. It caters to those who are ready to confront challenges, raise questions, and assert their opinions while shaping the perspectives of others. The importance of communication and media in our daily lives cannot be overstated. They have become integral to our work, as well as virtually every other activity. Given the rapid advancements in technology, including Web 2.0-based tools, our program places a strong emphasis on providing graduates with the knowledge and skills to navigate evolving communication tools responsibly, preparing them to tackle future challenges.

Over the course of three academic years, students will delve into subjects encompassing communication and mass media theory, social studies, psychology, marketing, and more. Practical courses, including creative communication, social projects, and media projects, will provide opportunities for skill development. In the third semester, students will embark on subjects relevant to their chosen specialization: International Communication or Integrated Media.

The International Communication specialization equips graduates to excel in entrepreneurial, networking, and managerial roles within various spheres of international social and political relations. Through comprehensive training in mass communication and intercultural communication, coupled with proficiency in two foreign languages for specific professional purposes, students develop expertise in English for specific purposes. This specialization places a particular emphasis on fostering cross-cultural and intercultural competencies, providing insights into the complex system of international organizations and the intricate processes shaping international relations. Additionally, it focuses on honing communication skills and acquiring specialized abilities related to successful career management.

The Integrated Media specialization addresses the transformative impact of new media technologies and digitalization on media and journalism. This specialization acknowledges the challenges faced by media education in the digital age, where the digital revolution and the proliferation of mobile communication platforms are reshaping media. Media convergence is at the heart of this new media environment, precipitating significant changes in global and national media landscapes, ownership structures, information gathering methods, storytelling approaches, and journalism genres. Integrated Media responds to these shifts by providing a holistic education that encompasses print, radio, television, online, and social media, integrating them into a cohesive whole. Emphasis is placed on practical and project-based learning, reflecting evolving industry needs.

Career opportunities for graduates of this program include roles such as journalists, editors, press officers, spokespersons, mid-level management positions in PR, advertising, and marketing, salespersons, event organizers, and international affairs officers.
