The Biology MSc program offers a comprehensive two-year education in the field of biology. This full-time training program encompasses a thorough education in biology, with a focus on specialized areas, particularly in molecular biology with specific tracks in neurobiology, genetics, and microbiology. Additionally, it emphasizes animal and plant ecology. Starting from the second semester, students have the option to choose between more laboratory practice in molecular biology or a greater number of courses in ecology.
The core subjects are taught through a combination of lectures, seminars, and hands-on laboratory or fieldwork. The program also provides a broader understanding of related scientific disciplines, including biophysics and biological chemistry. Students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge using state-of-the-art equipment in our newly established research center. This center encompasses all facets of education, research, and innovation in the realms of biomedical, natural, and environmental sciences. Moreover, students can actively participate in research activities conducted by 22 distinct research groups operating within the facility. This program thus offers a comprehensive and cutting-edge education in the field of biology, with ample opportunities for hands-on research and practical experience.
