Course Description

At the University of Pécs, Faculty of Humanities, you have the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in Archaeology. Upon completion, our graduates are well-prepared for roles as leaders of excavation projects, museum professionals, or researchers.

You will gain expertise in exploring, excavating, and analyzing archaeological sources and sites. Additionally, you will learn how to effectively manage museum collections. This program also provides exposure to other facets of cultural heritage, enabling you to contribute effectively to institutions involved in the exploration, preservation, and presentation of cultural heritage. Furthermore, you will be well-prepared to pursue further studies in Ph.D. programs.
